Podcampaz Social Media Conference

This is proof that Phoenix and The Valley is on the front edge of the digital wave. I have been attending Social Media Club and have met a bunch of great people and learned a lot. This is a bigger more organized version of that. Podcampaz is November 1 and 2 and best of all it's free.

University of Phoenix Stadium home of the Arizona Cardinals

Whether you can make a Cards game or not you should visit this facility. It is amazing seeing it from the car on the 101. But it's more amazing going inside. It's a state-of-the-art facility who happened to host the most viewed Super Bowl in NFL history. And hopefully we will get some more. Check out some other pics here. And the stadium site here.

La Tolteca Authentic Mexican Food and Market

La Tolteca  is amazing. The food is out of this world and the portions are huge. The Mahi Mahi tacos are my favorite and the Carnitas is close behind.  Everything is great and the menu goes on forever. You can add some Mexican pastries on your way out and buy anything you need from a Mexican market while waiting for your food. Don't worry about the neighborhood. It's fine.

Dining outside ... anywhere

Here is a photo my wife took (I'm in the black t-shirt) and we are eating on the patio at Gordon Biersch in Tempe. Our friends are Aaron and Leah. That place is great but eating outdoors is one of the simple pleasure of Phoenix. Imaginer doing that in the midwest with all the bugs or in the east with all the cold. October 11th is when this photo was taken and it was 78 degrees. Sweet.
